The Last Supper

Today we celebrate Jesus giving himself as bread and wine to his disciples and to all who would come to believe through them, even down to ourselves in our own time.

At the moment all Churches are closed for public worship, so we are not able to have our usual ceremonies.

Today we decided to be creative and read from the Gospel of St John that Jesus washed the disciples feet, then we went around in a circle and washed each others hands.

It was a beautiful and moving experience. I felt it symbolised our love for each other and our service of each other. So we give ourselves to God and to one another in love and service.
