I love this Advert hymn: welcoming the light of Christ into my life again is a great theme for Advent.
This has two parts. First turning away from the darkness which is really just an illusion or a dream. Second welcoming Christ who rises in our hearts like the dawn. In Christ’s day we can see things as they are.
